A lot of groups I've joined have had a strong focus on social-RP, which is great, except that it's all I can ever seem to find.Â I'm really hungering for some diversity and it's why I made another thread searching for people who were interested in brainstorming plots to try and foster some for myself.

That said - I'm curious to see if there are any strongly plot-driven RP LS/FCs out there.Â I've looked through the linkshell descriptions on this website, but it's hard to tell whether a group is plot-driven or social RP-driven based upon brief descriptions.

Any of them out there?

Im currently putting together 3-4 plots for my FC that will chain into each other. If your interested were always happy for new members and we do a pretty good deals worth of events and large scale stuff.

Dark Embers is going to be plot driven, but it's just recently formed; we're still crafting it. We also use a unique device to pull pieces of our members' personal stories into the FC plot over time (a completely optional device, so the amount of personal stories weaved in will be variable), so it's an ongoing process. We're going to start with one FC plot, and move on to another, taking elements from the game story and connecting it, but only in a small way.

Plot events will be every other week, we also have a casual RP event once a month, and will have an "open" casual RP event once a month where prospective members, FC allies, and current members can socialise. Members are welcome to make their own personal plot events on other nights. We also do progression raiding two nights a week.

We just opened the site to recruitment. Myself and the other co-leader are finishing up the IC write up about the Free Company for the site and for the RPC listing. It's been a bit busy here, so it's taking a bit longer than we planned. Almost everything else is up though.

Edit:Â Got our write up done during the 27th hour of server downtime. Also added our RPC listing.

Harbingers of Dawn is the FC R'mah was speaking of. We have social RP, but we also do plot-driven RP.Â We're a good-aligned, med-heavy RP FC dedicated to protecting and aiding the citizens of Eorzea. Right now the FC I am in "Night Blades" is involved in a Garlean plot if you are into RP combat and all that fun stuff.

Yeah I'd say we're fairly plot driven. We have a two plots going on various people are involved with:

~ The Garlean infiltration and retribution of a man named Fillion Fenias. An old nemesis of the Crimson Blades (Our 1.0 guild name) Fillion has so far kidnapped, stabbed, brainwashed, poisoned, drugged, and made fun of most people in the Night Blades and the Grim Echo. Not to mention his family - Isera Fenias managed to take someone's EYE - and his allies - Who have managed to incapacitate a lot of people. Currently, the Garleans have been on the attack, striking where they can at both companies.

~ The Primals. Currently the Night Blades is involved in a plot to try and resist the tempering of the Primals without the Echo. This is... been a months long road wrestling with lore and others things. Our main focus on this is an inventor and alchemist named Siben Farnesworth - who has currently decided to test out devices that strengthen a individual's will. Who knows if that will work.

Both this plots have already started.

And we have a few ideas for new things that people bring to the table.

We do a lot of social rp too, because we believe relationships also help with the impact of a plotline story, but yeah lots of plots
