Envisage of Night will be hosting a masked date auction before the start of the ball! The masked date auction will start at 9:00pm Eastern Standard Time (on March 21st) at the Sanctum of the Twelve. Below are the requirements to take place in the event, and a few answers to any questions you have.
What to expect
Q. What is a masked date auction?
A. A masked date auction is where the person being auctioned off wears a mask, or half a mask, to conceal their face.
Q. What is the point of a masked date auction?
A. Auctioning on a person who is wearing a mask adds a bit more mystery to the date, instead of you just basing your decision solely on looks. Besides if you knew their name, and appearance, straight up where would the fun in that be? Have a little fun! At the unveiling in the masquerade ball you will eventually get to see your date's face!
Q. Is my date suppose, or expected, to give me ERP?
A. NO! Whether or not your date, and you, have a romantic intimate scene should be decided among you two in private! Do not pressure you're date into it. Envisage of Night is not selling people out for sex.
What we need!
We need more people to sign themselves up to be auctioned off at the event! There is a flat sign up rate of 1,000 gil. A small price to pay for all the gil you receive for being auctioned off is yours to keep! Please contact Chika Ito either in game, or on here with your character's personality traits. Once you are signed up you will get a reply of your character's designated name for the event. For the duration of the masquerade you will go by this nickname until the unveiling. Keep your date in suspense! Anyone who is signed up to be auctioned off please show up at 8:30pm Eastern Standard Time to the Sanctum of the Twelve to get into place before everyone arrives, and your number in the auction line. Below is a list of who we have so far!
The Butler - Charming, strong, clean, and he is a butler for a living. Should you bid on him you can probably expect to be wadded on. I mean who doesn't enjoy a little pampering?
Raptor - This young woman is fun loving, good with animals, enjoys late nights out and the bottom of bottles! Meaning; she likes to party, and can hold her liquor. Good drinking pal if you need one.
Silver Tongue - A man with a rather clever mind, who can be very observant. He may have a silver tongue, but do not let that full you. This gentleman can be charming once given the chance.
The Lady - Most of the time this lovely woman is quiet, and reserved, shrouded in silence to learn about the world. When she speaks, however, everything that flows with ease from her tongue speaks of a wisdom beyond her years. A night with this polite woman is something you soon won't forget.
The Rose -Â When you first meet her she is quiet and shy, much like the Lady. Soon her petals open, and she blossoms into an enchanting social woman. Once you grow on her she becomes happy, and rather bouncy. Much like a rose there are many petals, and many sides to her. Can you see them all?
Masquerade Ball!
This event will be hosted at 10:00pm Eastern Standard Time on March 21st at the Sanctum of the Twelve. It goes hand in hand with the date auction if you bought a date. It's okay if you don't though! Bring a friend, or family. Be sure to wear a mask though!Â
There will be;
* The unveiling - The unveiling will take place at midnight Eastern Standard Time! This is where everyone will take off their masks, and give out their names should they choose.
* Before and after group shot; Before the unveiling, and after, we will gather for a group photo. A member of Envisage of Night will edit the picture, make it look clean, and I will post it on the forums.
* A custom playlist; Time was taken to create a custom playlist on youtube with music to set the mood for the ball! At times I will post in say the link to it.Â
* A sit down dinner; Hirokuli Zerokuli will have food on hand, and at a certain time will ring the dinner bell so everyone can sit down and eat.Â
* Best dressed; There is a contest of Best Dressed for women, men, and for couples. You will get a sum of gil for winning a contest. Chika Ito will call for nominations to be whispered to her, and whomever gets the highest of nominations wins.
* Black jack; There will be several dealers. A custom dice room will be set up in a web browser which the four people playing, and dealer, will enter. Here dice will be rolled, and the flipping of cards will be played out. To enter the black jack table you must chip in 100 gil per round to add to the pot. NOTE;Â Envisage of Night needs some dealers if someone is willing to help. You're effort will be rewarded at the end of the night. Contact Chika Ito for details.
* An open bar; A ball wouldn't be a ball without alcohol! NOTE;Â Envisage of Night needs bartenders, waitresses, and butlers. You're effort will be rewarded at the end of the night. Contact Chika Ito for details.
* Dancing; this is very much obvious! Dance and have fun!
