Greeting fellow Garleans.
There is a thread on the HRPC here that is looking for those on Balmung who are playing Garleans based character in game. Â I thought to create a thread here for those on the Gilgamesh server with the same pretense.
Let me introduce myself. Â I play Fitzwilliam Braddock, a man born and raised in the Empire. Â He was stranded in Eorzea after surviving the Battle of Carteneau, being left for dead. Â But the Twelve had different plans for him, and he was dragged from the pile of bodies above him and was nursed to health.
Granted a second chance, Fitz started a new life in Ul'dah as a guardsman within the Blades as well as a member of the Immortal Flames. Â His accent cannot be hidden, but he keeps his past a secret, living out this new life and atoning for his sins.
This is but a small overview, and I encourage you to read more about Fitz in his wiki. Â Check the links at the bottom for his journal to see more into his background.
I have also been putting together the little bit of lore and info we know about the Garlean Empire out there (in game or online) as a side hobby. Â A warning though. Â There may be spoilers in there for you, but if you are looking for something to help with a story, check it out. Â Link to it is here.
My goal is to use this post for those who have created or are thinking of creating a Garlean-centric FC, or for people who have Garlean backgrounds or are thinking of making one on Gilgamesh.
