More than anything else I think Eva wants someone in her life whom she can view as a 'bestie' and who views her in the same manner. This is something she had in her life once, briefly, and brought her a sense of fulfillment, order, and completeness. She has been sort of looking for that ever since her best friend passed away several years ago. She has many close friends who care about her and about whom she cares a great deal as well, many who look up to her, and she even has a love interest. But most of her friends and colleagues are kept at a certain distance either by her slowness and wariness to lower her guards or by their setting her upon some kind of pedestal. Even those closest to her seem to look up to her and display more of a polite respectfulness than the sort of well-intentioned blunt honesty she felt from her former bestie. It has remained a void in her life she has been unable to fill despite her best efforts.

...and tea. But she always wants tea. Thumbsup

Ira did have anything in mind to wish for, in the end she was shot by her mother. Best present.

Gentle Sun wished for friends and he got his very first one the next day. He was definitely happy.
