There is something out there...

With the recent oddity of the wanted flyers circulating in the three cities, action has been called upon. Some wish to aid, others wish to have the money they falsely advertise. Either way, there is a threat out there and it must be brought to justice.

Whomever this odd person is, the person has thus far been known to be an Elezen of a Female gender. Any and all are welcome to take up arms if they so wish, but the threat is unknown...and it's best to not engage in combat till further information can be gathered.

Maybe we should start with the one who is on the papers themselves...

When: January 9th
Where: starts at The Quicksand
Time: 7:30 EST (4:30 PST) until 11 or midnight EST [Maybe rescheduled]
Requirement: Heavensward MSQ to unlock Corethas Western Highlands (flying optional)

This has been an RP event one year in the making complete with roll boss fights and the like. For further information, please send in game mail or whisper Arala Makeo or P'rita Kali whenever she may be on. There is also a linkshell dedicated to this event to keep track of who is in on this event. This is a Multi-part RP with various encounters and fights. Most are scripted but Roll fights are implemented none the less. I will be using NPCs during this event, so if we end up with more than 8 I will have to do my best to describe.

There will also be some Forum RP moments since i know not everyone can do Ingame meetings. As such these are restricted to event only battles without rolling or normal conversation.

Head warning: There may be some things in this RP one may not like but do know that not every RP is perfect. So feedback and comments are appreciated. Backlash and hate is not. It took me a lot of courage to start posting this on the forums and I am hoping this catches on. Thank you for reading :3

It's why i mentioned forum posts as well for those who can't be ingame for the events :3
Currently writing up one for after the ingame event for forum RPers. Specifically those who didn't make it but do feel like joining in but everyone is able to join.

A small update and heads up.

1: The NPCs involved have their scripts ready and with alternate lines depending on group involvement or questions.Â

2: There will be a linkshell for the event exclusively that i will invite people to on the day they come to the event. If you did not make it, do not fret. I will do my best to invite you ingame even when there are no events. This Linkshell is only for the events that come.

3: If for any reason you have to drop out or can't make it to an event, I am not going to hold it against you. Life can get in the way and sometimes you feel like your character is not up for it/Is not in the right RP for the whole situation. It's natural and fine. However, if you find something in the RP that offends you or in your eyes somehow bends lore too much for your liking...I'd kindly ask you to either whisper me your distaste and NOT make a scene or say absolutely nothing. As said before there MAY be a bit of a bend but I assure you it is not going to kill you to try it for yourself.

Finally: We are doing dice roll system for the fights against NPCs but... Please don't Godmod. When your character hits 0 HP they are not dead. Just fainted. I already prepared a backup after battle event in case (Which should not happen) that will never kill our characters. That said...If you WANT to kill your character at any point during this event (And again it's on you), Mail me on the forums or whisper Arala Makeo ingame when she is on and we can talk about it there.

I wanted to make some clarifications. I know there is a long time for this to start what with Holidays and other life stuff getting in the way, but sooner the better instead of later. Thank you! :3

Quick Update:

I posted this on the calendar date for the event but decided to repost this here. Since not everyone plays on computer, I will do my best to keep track of notes on paper.

Any and all battles will do a similar role system to the Grindstone with slight modifications since this involves NPCs as well.

* Players get 5 hits rather than 3
* If the character is considered one who can heal, they can do just that to one or all party members (Using a heal prevents using it for three rounds but heals up to two hits). You are also free to take a hit for another party member if you so wish if they fail their defense roll (Limited to ONE intervention per person. NOTE: This does not prevent your character from getting hit if you choose to take the hit. So please keep that in mind.)
* there is no death. Only case of death is on you and your character.
* Depending on the turnout, the Health of the NPC(s) will change in value from their initial starting value. The more there are, the more health they have.
