So I am starting this topic for 2 reasons.. One, because lets face it we all come across some WTF and laughable moments when we started or are "FC hunting". The second and more reason is to document the weird and often hilarious moments I have in this game. I am new to the game and Balmung, the unofficial RP server of FF14. Please enjoy my awesome adventures as I share the weird, wonderful and laughable moments of this noob!

Week 1!

So I finally got tired of my dead server and figured I would see whats going on, on Belmung. So far its been.... Interesting. Joined a FC that was cool but dead most the time. Had someone ask me, " How much are you willing to pay for a good time." Then to top it all off, I walked in on some cat love in the Church of Adama....

Did I join the Goldshire of FF14 or just have bad luck lol.

Its been an awesome week and I have really enjoyed my time!

Week 2

So I went on a friend hunt and after being chased my a litter Miqo'te, almost killed by a lizard and a counseling session with a moonlighting lizard, I found someone to hang out with. He was big, blue and awesome. We bs'd for awhile and then when to do some levequests. While wondering through the desert in peace and quiet, the silence was broken by a strange question, " What do you think the babies of a Miqo'te and one of these big scorpions would look like?" After a moment the mental picture set in! I didnt reply and after about 2 minutes he laughed and states, " Oh yeah, know what we are going to RP next week!"

As we arrived in town, I thanked him for the adventure and buggered off. As I left the only thought I had was, " Of gods I hope I will not be a test subject!"

As week two comes to an end, I must say, I am enjoying my time on Belmung. I cant wait to see whom I end up adventuring with next!Â

So I thought I would post a mid week report. I decided to apply for some FCs and had acouple OOC interviews with some interesting people. One that clings to my mind had some interesting questions. "If trapped inside of a soul stone what body part would you eat first?" I mean how do you answer that? It was a really fun interview, I didn't get accepted but still fun non the less.

We need to know the answer.. I mean did the interviewer have any tasty body parts at all? I'd probably start with their ears, or maybe tongue as they would probably complain about the eating and no one like a complaining companion.
