Well the first linkshell leaders meeting past and our leaders had their chance to talk

[light hearted jab]Okay so most of Group 2 didn't manage to make it[/light hearted jab]

But I had this idea before the meeting when I saw the grouping. That the we the random members should talk too. Just an informal thread where we can introduce ourselves our goals, story ideas we might need people for, and/or ideas our leaders could use for future.

If you haven't read through the Leaders linkshell threads group 2 is currently made up of the following linkshells.

Group 2--
Hipparion Tribe
Mysterium, the Ivory Tower
Commerce Regulation Agency
Unsung Heroes
Ul'dah Garden
Remnants of Hope

A little about me: I play have characters in two of the linkshells and was super excited when I saw the list. I know the Hipparion Tribe has members in Ul'dah Garden and the CRA, and I've read about a few of the other linkshells. I spend almost as much time on the RPC forums as I do in game, and as such outside of linkshell events most of my RP is on the forums currently and I'm still working on leveling both my characters main battle classes (Gla 22 and Acn 31.)

Well thats about it for this long winded first post. Hope to see everyone in game and around the forums; and I hope this will help sprout some great RP in the future.

Naunet mentioned to me that you'd posted this here trying to get some communication going in our little 'group' :p I keep forgetting to actually replay here. I know that the CRA specifically had some communication/awareness issues going on around the first linkshell leaders meeting here on the forums, which is why none of us were there D: But that's past.Â

There is definitely some cross-over between some of the linkshells though. I know Naunet, Twinflame, and Ildur from the CRA are all involved in the Hipparion tribe for instance.Â

We have slowly been trying to build up some inner working plots involving *cough* Garleanexpansion *cough*. But we all love collaboration with other RPers and would be happy to talk plot ideas *is totally speaking for other even though they aren't here*.Â

As for me personally? My main is Illira Carceri.

I've got several other alts, but they aren't tied in with anything specific at the moment, and a few of them are still in conceptual formation.

Anyway, yay! Communication and collaboration.

I understand that I sadly missed the event, but I had work to do unfortunately, though don't worry too much Torvhan, I'll be getting people involved with each other as soon as I can. I'm currently opening recruitment for more people as well as designing various events for the public.

I'm not worried, was just trying to poke fun. Honestly even outside of Group 2 a huge number of link shells just didn't manage to get the word. But aftermath of that is it looks like a lot of people know about the meetings and the leaders link shell forums now. So hopefully the next meeting will go better.

Right here I'm just trying to do my own part and get in on some of the fun, undoubtedly as we move foward the linkshell leaders will be working together on larger events, but here I'd like to focus on the personal level. A place to let the members of our 6 linkshells (currently) to talk and meet the people from the other linkshells, at least on the forums.

SpoilerNobody ever likes her because she is kind of a sanctimonious prat. Used to a captain of the Immortal Flames, specifically working in law enforcement, until the Syndicate had her ousted. Since then she has traveled and worked in pockets around Eorzea, eventually finding a place among the CRA's directive council.

Plans? None specifically at the moment. Though it would be fun to play with her balancing on the moral edge. Which she does quite a bit of. But it would be helpful for her character development to have a more specific corruption or injustice to root out. This could very likely align with the CRA's objectives, or simply be her own personal pet project.

Well I have read one of Naunet's posts on CRA rp. In general the discussion between some of those characters made my brain fry out that day. Some of it probably had to do with I had no idea about the event that they were discussing. I came out of it though, thinking Illira was a very intelligent and very dangerous woman.

It possible In the future I'll meet a few of you when K'mana finally runs into Anti at Melvaan's Gate. I always keep and eye out in Limsa to see if I spot Anti around town, only managed once but it was way to early IC. (Kinda hoping I can manage to track down at least one of her girls before I pounce on Anti)

Did you see the huge Master Linkshell cross-shell for guild leaders i made? we have currently 11 contributing linkshells who're all cooperating wit hthe idea and we keep in touch via that shell for coordinating events and rping...so don't worry too much on communication, i made sure to do my best on that part.

I have some less brain-frying and perhaps more externally plot-relevant RP to post from a meeting of the Big Three soonish. Just have to get around to formatting it. xD There was discussion regarding moving on exploits within the Shroud, particularly with regards to aether and woodwrath; not sure if anyone in Group 2 has significant connections there. That said, they've got interests in Ul'dah and Limsa as well (with D'hein and Ildur representing those, respectively), so there's always potential ins that way. The Ul'dah Garden may be something the CRA would have interest in keeping an eye on.

LOL, I did say I'm not worried, seriously. I was just making a joke about the first meeting. I have lots of faith in the RPC and where everything is going. I've also been following the new master linkshell and the leaders forums, mostly cause I spend a lot of time on the forums and I like to look at where things are heading.

On that note: I am not currently an officer in either of my linkshells or free company, just a very active forum member (and skype.) Totally need to shift some of my forum time to actually playing in game lol. So I will not be participating in the those discussions for now, unless I'm asked to attend because some one is busy. Unfortunately right now I am still on a ship, and the NAVY says when I will be around so I'm not really ready to look at stepping up in the ranks.

I made this thread because I thought that like myself, others would enjoy getting in touch with other members of the group 2 for smaller events or personal story lines that would not require the greater organization of our leaders.

Like I said, I am not worried; and I had planned on making this thread even if all the leaders had made it to the meeting and starting coordinating like they are now. I just felt a forum thread would be best for the members of group 2 due to the limitations on Linkshell size I don't know if we could fit every single person in group 2 in to a linkshell, like the leadership is doing on a smaller scale.
