RPC has moved! These pages have been kept for historical purposes

I've been filling out a Character Wiki Page for a little while now, and I'm trying to figure out how to get my page to appear in the RPC library with all the other names. However, having no previous wiki-editting experience, I'm scared as hell that I'll move a page and completely demolish the whole RPC library or something!

My RPC's page is "Sil'tel Ferima", it's searchable, but I'd like the name to appear with all the other names in the RPC library links page. If someone could inform me how to do this without bring an apocalyptic closure to the wiki itself I'd be extremely grateful! Alternatively, if someone wanted to move it there themselves, that would be okay, too.

Hello Sil'tel,

just as part of the preamble, remember that you have

at your disposal.

As a note, the classification modifiers are part of the tag system in the following lines of code.

You can see an example of it in the templates and in most character wikis. this "info box" is what (like I touched on above) provides the information for the Wiki itself to query and sort by (such as race/clan/citizenship etc.)

hope that helps! remember, it might take a moment for the update script to run and for things to be sorted correctly. (Though i'm not the wiki master, for specifics I would suggest speaking with Deirdre, whos' contact is listed on the wiki home page.)

Now, onto my next issue. It brings my name up in the list as "User:Sil'tel Ferima", and I'm completely unsure of how to remove the user part.

From what I can see you have two pages.

(1) http://ffxiv-roleplayers.com/wiki/index....tel_Ferima

(2) http://ffxiv-roleplayers.com/wiki/index....tel_Ferima

The second is your user page, also the one you added the player catergory tag to. If you edit the first one and add the tag it should work, then just remove the tag from your user page.

Most people leave the user page blank though I've seen a few who use the #REDIRECT tag to redirect the user page to their main characters wiki page.

I would just make sure not to DELETE the user page, everyone has one and I'm not sure if it would affect your account.

It looks like you have two pages, because there's one called "User:Sil'tel Ferima" and another "Sil'tel Ferima" and they are slightly different. You can move the User one (seems the most up to date) to the second one via the "Move" icon at the top of the page.

It seems to be fixed up now. Yes, I was an idiot and edited the wrong page. Ugh, it's late.
