I know I'm posting a lot of polls lately, but I'm trying to get a read on some proposals and ideas I've been sitting on since I was given the Magic Admin Hat, as I wanted to let the dust settle and let everyone get a feel for how I operate. 
Recently, I mentioned that there's a system called Thread Prefixes in our board software. It lets threads be classified using a specific list of prefix tags. For instance, a thread could be prefixed "EU", "Balmung", or what have you. This gave me the idea that we could merge the Gilgamesh and Balmung Directory and Events forums into unified forums, then use Thread Prefixes to let users sort and filter the lists. The advantages are that it reduces the number of forums, eliminates any "at a glance" disparity in activity between the servers, and gives users (especially new users) a single forum to look at to find people and events. The disadvantages include requiring searching or filtering by the user to restrict the posts by server (as opposed to now, where the forum does that), uglier thread titles, and possibly some technical implementation problems.
So, as with the other polls, I'd like to get your feedback. Assuming it's technically possible, would you be in favor of merging the forums into two big Directory and Events forums, or leaving them separate as they are now?
