Hey everyone. New to the RPC here, though definitely not new to RP itself.

My MMO RP experience has been pretty good overall, having started out in City of Heroes in 2009 and when that shut down, I moved over to Champions Online. But I've always been a fan of the FF franchise ever since the mid-90s.

I, too, have high hopes for the RP community here. I only regret not coming to Balmung sooner, having created five characters on Gilgamesh and having missed out on the free World Transfer service that ended two days ago. Sad

So for now, my only character is Alphonse Desrouleaux. I will move all my characters there at some point since I'm a crazy altoholic. I'll lurk a bit more to get a better feel of the RP scene.

Welcome to the RPC Cedric,

Both Gilgamesh and Balmung have strong RP communities, so it looks like you did well in your server choices. A small note about the RPC, the groups been around for quite some time so you'll find a nice mix of old blood and new here.

If you want to know a bit more about the communities you might meet I would check out the Linkshell hall. There's the Wiki and Server directories for character information/profiles. The Lantern is an IC publication, and the Calendar lists events (though there are some unlisted within the server specific forums as well.)

The links on the front page such as the RP handbook are an excellent resource if you want to know a little more about RP in general (although it sounds like you have a firm grasp.)

Hit me up sometime while you're still on Gilgamesh! My favorite character is on that server. Even if her armor looks like a joke and she's still in the Limsa Lominsa area...
