It only served to reaffirm her commitment to herself. She will never mate. The two otherwise, had a civil meal together, before K'ailia left for Vesper Bay, where she charted a boat ride to Limsa Lominsa and traveled to Red Rooster Stead where the healer happened to be. She met one of her closest friends, Kinra Zhwan and Qata'to Jinjahl. And all agreed, times were changing. Miqo'te were starting to drift away from Tribal Communities to become part of the greater community that is Eorzea. Though she will look back on her growing up years in the tribe fondly, K'ailia was no longer part of the tribe. But she would wear the K in her name proudly as a remembrance of where she came from. For her, a new life had begun. One she hoped her mother would eventually come around to accepting. Her story within the tribe was now over.
