Hello everyone!Â Just found this place through the power of the mightiest of internet oracles, also known as Google.Â I hope I get the opportunity to meet with some of you in game and share in some compelling stories.

MMORPG background
I have played several MMOs, including WoW, CoX, Champions Online, GW/GW2, and SWTOR.

RP experience
I have been a table top roleplayer and GM for about 13 years.Â I have also roleplayed inÂ ever MMOÂ I have played in, except for the first Guild Wars.Â My hope is to play here as a heavy roleplayer.

Shaori Starbreeze

Age: 19
Race: Hyur
Sex: Female
Hair color: Green
Eye colors: White (Left) Blue (Right)
Notable traits: Small arcane symbol tattooed on left cheek.Â Mute.

Yes, the muteness can prove to be quite a burden in a roleplay situation, but she had two ways around this.Â One, she is familiar with a form of Eorzean sign language.Â Two, by making physical contact with someone (usually touching their face) she can speak directly to them.Â How is this, you might ask?

Very briefly, her calling in life involves spirits, travelling the world trying to bring peace to the spirits troubled by the Calamity.Â This includes ghosts of the fallen and agitated elementals.Â Her attunement to such things allows her to communicate with them, through her own spirit.Â I haven't looked enough to see if there is any sort of lore precedent, but I figure it's a safe enough fantasy trope and it seemed like a fun idea so I wanted to run with it.

Welcome to the RPC and Balmung Shaori! Your character sounds interesting and I have quite a few of my own that wouldn't mind meeting someone with her abilities, especially my main Siha! She's currently trying to bring her oath brother back to life, he's running around as a ghost (sort of), so if you ever see me on Siha Xinkei don't hesitate to contact me. Perhaps we could get you in our plot or just get Shaori some contacts going!

"Intermission" is an excellent way to meet people OOC, plan a get together, talk about the latest Chris Hiddleston chest pic, ect. All the good stuff.

"Balmungs Finest" is a PVE centered linkshell all about the group content, from doing dungeons to plowing through primals, if you're looking for a group, or just want to jump into other peoples parties without worrying about duty finder PUGS who won't put that stupid topaz carbuncle away.

Hrm, well i'm a bit out of practice, so thats all for now. As the others have shown the community is fairly open, and there are plenty of people to answer questions or provide perspective.
