The most influential person in Vaughn's life was his father, Ambroise. He was the top earner of the brothel where Vaughn was born and raised, was well-loved by all, moved with an ethereal grace, and a naturally beautiful man. Ambroise taught Vaughn all he knew so that when Vaughn became of age to work, he could rival his father (I will not go into details here, because it would make many people uncomfortable). Vaughn still holds his father in high regard, and wishes he was alive today.
