Probably could've given this a more accurate name, but you're in here now!Â

So I'd like to compile two lists for my RP purposes, just in case anyone's interested.
Â
1) Known enemies of Ishgard
2) Potential enemies of Ishgard (i.e. suspicious people)

Basically it boils down to this: If you're a known enemy, we'll have you in our intel, and Mishka and I will be actively looking for you. If you're a potential enemy, we won't know exactly who you are, but regard you as suspicious if we come across you. To dispel any concerns you may have, we will not physically harm anyone IC unless they specifically ask us to. Attempt to, likely, but not succeed.Â

If you'd like to be on the first list, we'll need your RP name and any information we'd have in our files (doesn't actually need to be accurate, if you're managed to fool the church).Â

For the second list, we'll only need your in-game name and possibly the reason you see suspicious. So, any aspiring heretics out there?

Question, would they still be looking for remnants of the Garleans that took over Dzemael Darkhold during the events of Dalamund 5 years ago?

I... I didn't know that was even a thing. More 1.0 stuff I'm clueless about, I guess. I can't imagine the Holy See would waste time tracking down grunts, but anyone involved in orchestrating the event might warrant some holy justice!Â

But my big question would be, would Ishgard even know where to begin looking for these men?

"The Garlean Empire had dispatched legions throughout Eorzea. Units have been engaged in combat within Thanalan, as well as the Black Shroud. One legion, led by the notorious Nael Van Darnus - Legatus of the VIIth Legion ("The White Raven") - had invaded the Ishgardian stronghold known as the Dzemael Darkhold, securing the vast crystal deposits located inside the caves for Ceruleum harvesting, which then may be used by the Empire to summon their own Primal." That was during the 2nd Garlean Invasion, when the VIIth Legion and the White Raven was once again preparing for Project Meteor.

Most of the remaining VII Legion did die in Cartenau when Bahamut was released from Dalamund. Not sure if Ishguard would be aware of that since it was busy with its own things. However, they might still have more prominent figures from the Legion that showed up on the field during its time in Coerthas listed perhaps?

Mainly poking at you to see if they'd go after Ex Garleans / Garleans in Hiding as well as Heretics or only Heretics.

If a specific Garlean were to wrong Ishgard enough to justify the resources to hunt him down, then absolutely. While dedicated mostly to hunting heretics, the witch hunters as I imagine them could and would often be used by the church as political and military assassins, since the skillset is basically the same, and why have two organizations when one can just do both?
On the other hand, if a witch hunter were to happen across a Garlean soldier or ex-soldier who had no real connection to anything Ishgard-related, it wouldn't really be worth the risk to try anything. So it really just depends if the Garlean had made any powerful enemies in Ishgard.

Hrm...interesting. Might have to poke at you online at some point. Phae does have a past in Ishguard that would earn him a rather grim end if it was found out. Could be fun to poke at it and give you something to chase.

Well I'm always up for it! Well, my RP time will probably be cut down a bit right after the patch release, as being a healer means I get volun-told into a lot of dungeon grinding, but whenever I'm available!

Well I'm always up for it! Well, my RP time will probably be cut down a bit right after the patch release, as being a healer means I get volun-told into a lot of dungeon grinding, but whenever I'm available!

I'm sure most of us will be busy for a while right after patch xD I'm pretty easy going when it comes to how often and how much time people want to put into RP. So no worries there.
