I am needing to know HOW to get into Balmung when it is saying both it and Gilgamesh are not available? Â Is that permanent or is there a way to get in to the world?

Balmung is a reeeeeally busy server. Gotta wait until either a spot in early morning, which is rare but happens, or a maintanence to zerg rush minutes before it closes. Gilgamesh is the same but with less intensity.

Okay, I will try i the morning....What time is around the best, you think....5-6 ish?

Usually about 2-5 am central or eastern time are when new characters can be made.

I can't say for sure I waited until a maintanence and zerg rushed literally a minute before all words closed. I would say 5-6 AM but like I said, it's less guaranteed. The 100% guaranteed way is just paying your character to be transfered to Balmung, or the more risky but more guaranteed way and free is to wait for a maintanence.

I would say keep trying for the morning until a maintanence happens, or if you're willing to spend money, make a character anywhere and pay.

Yeah that's my problem too. Im tempted to pay if I cant get onto balmung in the next few days. If only the rp server wasn't on the busiest server here. Sad

It's due to both it being the Legacy server, as well as another group BESIDES RPers marking the server as theirs.

When I last did a server transfer it was $18. Not that bad, certainly not the most expensive server transfer out there.

I waited for the recent maintenance down time and made my main moments before the servers were taken down then made a couple potential alts when it came back up a couple hours later. I have heard Tues-Weds between 5am-9am est are usually your best chance otherwise but I never got lucky.

I think the servers will have to go down for a bit for the holiday event starting tomorrow (?)... so trying today before it goes down might be worth giving a shot.

Good luck making it on!Â I wish that we had better news than this.Â Its unfortunate that getting onto one of the RP servers requires shenanigans, but I do think you'll find it worthwhile if you do!
