It came up in PMs a bit about the Freeform RP after the celebration (which just means everyone there gets to talk and participate and socialize).

Was the leaving notes for Menphina thing a good idea to bring back for this particular event? I was thinking of something like a message of good fortune or a wish of destiny/fate that pilgrims could share again either openly or quietly.

Oddly enough, I would think the Fortune-Telling from Althyk's pilgrimage would be good here. We are talking about the Goddess of Fate, after all. Maybe not have a big ol' event in the pilgrimage itself for it, but I could totally see a handful of fortunetellers being around for the post-pilgrimage to divine people's futures.

It would have but it fell through. My fault Cry

Sadly the timing I was forced to fit for this one eliminated that possibility as two can't make it. And this is later on a day that is followed by a weekday it's not feasible for the time slot to have people waiting around. The fortune-telling takes more work, even as one card, and I can't thank Iskiberry enough for doing that solo before. But it was a lot of work when the other cancelled on short notice.

Unless I can get three plus, fortune telling is better off as its own event.

But there are other plans and will still be fortunes! Just a different spin on them. It's the bartering I was really curious about.

That wasn't a pun on purpose.

Event is tomorrow at 8PM Eastern.

Anyone who needs an outfit for the event we have straw hats and robes and appropriate Nymeia colors.

I'm so nervous, but excited! Laugh

And now the joys of figuring out a 'hook' for Lynx to be there.

Then I realize wait... will I be on? Maybe not, hopefully I will be able to be online and attend.

Wonderful turn out I was floored as within a matter of minutes over a dozen people appeared. Thank you so much for those who could attend, very sweet to people who wished it well that couldn't make it, and the RP after the celebration and talking was so nice.

I have a few screenshots edited (four uploaded - I'm at work lalalala) and over two thousand lines of log to sort and tidy up.

Big thank you to all the performers telling stories and singing songs. They were inspiring and the timing was so nice on them. There was music included. And yes it rained, then stopped raining on Eva Big Grin.

Another thank you to all those who offered to help out and were willing to jump in if everything fell apart. Keeping it a bit shorter worked out well and the nice part is we get to feature different people on different months and these creative people can participate and relax instead of prepping and performing: Nathan, Oscare, Tausenadel, Leanne

Thank you to the guards! They were ceremonial this time around (no huge frogs, all passive creatures on our two minute walk) I got so many whispers about people noticing them in their tabards and up on the hillside being very stoic and ceremonial.

Thank you to Cliodhna and Iskierka for passing out fortune cookies. Thank you to Anzu for creating the fortunes to pass out. Sadly the time didn't work out to be there in person, but if anyone enjoyed knowing true love was going to appear, happiness is next to you, or help I'm being kept prisoner in a cookie factory, they're all but a few of the scores of fortunes that were made for the cookies. Iskierka also threw in some of her own special messages, no one is quite sure how they got there.

Thank you to Ilwe'ran for helping provide hats and clothing; it wasn't Europe-friendly this time around and staying up late to be available for it was very selfless.

And Eva was available for talking and giving blessings! People were all around her by Nymeia's stone and I even saw someone 'trying' to sneak in line to see her. So nice of her to devote so much time to the crowd of people and speak to so many.

I'll work on finishing up the screenshots (I'd love to see any that people got) and start posting the log for everyone. Smile
