Not sure if this belongs here but I didn't want to make a whole thread just to ask. How up to date is this calendar for Balmung?

I've always been curious about if some of the events listed still exist or happen as I don't see them advertise on the PF or post here. I'm sure people cancel and etc life happens but is this schedule current enough to assume the events listed still happen every so often when they say they normally would? Otherwise they'd be taken down if they cancelled or outright stopped for a time right?

*Ahem* ...I've moved the post above to one of the relevant threads for this question.

The maintainers of the Balmung Events Calendar used to physically show up to every single event listed if I recall. If reports are sent in that an event's no longer up to date or canceled, it is removed from the Calendar. Partly why there's also a verified Weekly Upcoming RP Events thread pinned just above this one.

We're working on getting to each event in the system to vett them, we're having a bit of a delay in the refresh due to things like the sewage line backing up into the house and trees falling on stuff. Â (It's been one hell of a summer.)

If you show up at an event and no one is there, please let me know and we'll get it looked into more closely and/or remove it.

A number of groups canceled their events for SB and didn't bother letting anyone know, so we're playing the every two year catch up.

Edit: Â Also the link shell has more or less been supplemented by the discord bot notifications. Â That and I'm hardly online to post them in the mornings and what not. Â Some folks use it to announce events but it's more or less deprecated at this point.

This may change once Nefzen gets back into the swing of things, but I doubt it.
