I have just recently gotten back into FFXIV and really only play alone so I wanted to hop into RP and at least do something interesting. I was wondering what server I should move to as I am on Adamantoise and I am pretty sure that is dead as dead can get.Â

Looking around it seems like Mateus is the choice to go to now considering Balmung and Gilgamesh are congested worlds? I'm really interesting in "open rp" just seeing stuff around not necessarily closed of groups in link shells and FCs if that is a thing. Any suggestions?

Mateus, for what I've seen lately, has been an option since Balmung became congested. I didn't know Gilgamesh was congested too, but beside this three servers Omega is emerging as a RP server and recently I've found out two RP FC on Cerberus, as long as some people willingly to do it.

Mateus is indeed the current "go-to" server for RP with Balmung and Gilgamesh locked down until further notice due to overpopulation. Omega (and Louisoix, I think?) are also RP options, but those are primarily for the EU community, I think? So unless you're playing on EU hours (or are in the EU yourself!), your times might clash with most of the RP populace there.

There are also a lot of little RP hubs here and there - Fairie, Jenova, and a few others spring to mind. But if you're looking for more open RP, I think Mateus (or Omega if EU) will be your best bet. Thumbsup
