I almost never see anyone use the "Looking For Party" tag under Search Info, so I was wondering, to make things easier for people looking for random RP, if one could use that to say so "Hey! I'm available for RP!"

I think it an interesting idea that definitely has some potential.

Though it may confuse non-RPers.

I know some roleplayers who edit their search info to say stuff like "X-type RPer. Walk ups ok/welcome!"

Well, I think Nhago's thinking about being able to set a search for "LFP", but yeah. Having a "roleplayer" tag on search info is probably the best thing I can think of. If I'm sitting around with little to do, I'll examine people who look likely to see if they're roleplayers.

The problem I see with using "Looking for Party" is that you will eventually run into people who are actually looking for a party and not for roleplay. The best would be to use some other tag that non-roleplayers wouldn't use normally. Sadly, I don't think any of the ones we have available right now would work, since I think the AFK and Busy tags make you immune to tells or something. I've never tried them, though.

I know that Busy makes you not get tells, cannot be traded with, or join a party. Â Essentially useful if you just want to craft in quiet.

I think AFK just doesn't have you get tells, but I could be wrong.

Right now, the most we have is editing our information people see when they Search. Â I would love such a flag though, like some games have [Role Player] and [Anon] flags, etc.
