II. RP Style

Amount of RP (light, medium, heavy):
Heavy. I am always IC - even when I seem to just be standing there spacing out.
Views on RP combat and injuries:
No issues at all! I believe that actions mean consequences. If I get stabbed in the shoulder, then I'm going to be out of commission until it heals. I like to play fair and if that means my own character will come out worse for wear then so be it.
Views on IC romance:
People fall in and out of love in real life. It happens in RP too. I like to have OOC coordination when doing it, though, because after some mix ups in the past I've learned that it comes in handy. I do have a strict rule that private things stay private.
Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc):
I don't mind this, but it has to be worked on OOC. My characters come with histories pre-made and it'd be cool to fill in gaps but I've never actually done that before.
Views on lore:
Lore is nice. It keeps RP consistent and helps tie the world together. Unfortunately FFXIV doesn't really give us much on a lot of topics and leaves us to either interpret or infer some things. If something's not in-lore but sounds like it'd fit the Eorzean world then I don't see why it shouldn't. More than that, though, if someone wants to break the mold and have fun they can do it. I will jut respond how my character will respond.
Views on chat functions (/say, /linkshell, etc):
I use parenthesis when speaking OOC in say, but otherwise use /say as an IC medium. On rare occasions I'll break the forth wall with emotes, considering they're dictated by the player rather than by the character directly. I am part of a couple IC linkshells, where I will use quotations for speech and at other times describe things that can also be heard. If it's not an IC linkshell then I just talk normally.
