My name is Freya, but you all can call me Artemis (or Artie, if you prefer!). I've been playing FFXIV for about a year now on my home server of Cerberus. I used to roleplay a lot in my teens, but not so much now so I'm a little rusty. I've never roleplayed in a video game though! I've been interested in getting into it for a while now as I'm not so interested in end game stuff and more interested in socialising with people and having fun (not to say that killing stuff isn't fun!). I'm currently not active in the game, as I'm taking a break to explore here before I decide whether or not to transfer over to Gilgamesh. As for my character, Artemis is the same age as me, 21 and she specialises in the art of the weaver. She was born and raised in Gridania near the conjurer's guild before moving to Ul'dah to pursue her dream of becoming a master weaver. She travels alone with only her trusty purple chocobo Athene as a companion.
I'm basically looking for some guidance into the world of roleplay within Eorzea. I'm not the type to have a hugely complicated backstory, I'm more just looking for a way to play the game in a different way and make some lasting friends while I'm at it. I suppose while I'm here as well, I'd like to find an FC or a linkshell that will accept me once I transfer, so I can jump right in after I move.Â
