It seems people have been getting hung up on what will happen if only one person can afford a paid tier for mount/items.  It is worth noting that the noted pay scale will apply on EVERYTHING, not just the ceremony details and planning.  Also, if you cancel the quest at any time, even before the actual ceremony, your wristlets will dissolve.  http://www.reddit.com/r/ffxiv/comments/2...wngrades/  For reference.
