Ive been lurking about Eorzea since technically before ARR during its original launch.

I've been considering looking into a LS or 2 for some extra/occasional chat flow on the screen when I'm on gaming.

Ive thought about a few tied to some FC's I've seen here and there but it seems like some have an activity requirement or that the LS is IC for their FC so I'm still looking around before I approach anyone.

I'm at most a very casual player, and light'ish on the RP side(mainly due to time restraints and such. On the RP side of things I've been scouting out some that are tied to adventurer/mercenary/craft/gathering types. My character is more the freelance wandering adventurer or takes on work/leves from people ranging from anything like monster hunting to just gathering materials to supply folks.(roughly summed up anyway)

So I may be looking for a Linkshell or 2 similar. Once Ive more time I plan to approach some of the groups I've seen on the linkshell pages here and in game.

If you hang out around Ul'dah often, you might like Quicksand Appreciation (aka Friends of Momodi). A large collection of Ul'dah-based/affiliated RPers hang out there. It's a usually very friendly environment, and /definitely/ provides a LOT of text.

Seconding Unamed Merc, Friends of Momodi is pretty good for hanging out and talking about nonsense.

It's also a good way to meet lots of people, and make connections. It doesn't have a real activity or RP requirement. But it fills up occasionally, and I'll kick people who haven't talked for several months.

Hmm, I may check them out, it'd be nice to have more then 1 LS to lurk about.
I am a bit partial to the Limsa Lominsa area followed by Gridania's woods and forests. I think most of the time I'm around Ul'dah is due to my gathering most of the time heh.

EDIT: I wouldn't mind checking out this LS, ive got at least 2 open LS spots.
Who would I look for?
