I think...Lily would die in vain. Like, she'd feel that she was sacrificing herself for a cause, or fighting for what she believed in, but during her last breaths she would find that everything she was doing was for nothing, or that she was fighting on the wrong side.

And as she goes to attempt to rally the others, she'd find that everyone that she was trying to protect would either be dead or have fled ages ago. Pretty much she would feel the enemy's weapon sink into her, and her heart stop as the realization that she was wrong about everything she'd come to know about her life in Eorzea.

That, or she'd pull an 'Eren's mom' bit. Big Grin

Daphine will die an old lady in her bed next to her husband (if he doesnt go before her) with her children and possibly grandchildren at her side.

Andralyn.... before John it would have been suicide. Severe depression and alcoholism brought her the the peek of many bluffs despite the love she had for her employees. Since John... I'm not certain. The thought of getting old makes her sick but she wouldn't leave the one person that has pulled her from so much.

Rhysa well... if Kedi'ra doesn't kill her first she'd be lucky if her schemes didn't get her into some trouble Kedi couldn't save her from.

... that or her metabolism finally slows down and all that food she stuffs into her face expands her waist tenfold and sbe gets the diabeetus

Ruture's massive form slowly lumbered to a stop next to the much smaller Miqo'te, placing a hand on the armored shoulder of the Warrior, which causes Dacero to look up from his own thoughts, a cigar in the corner of his lips. He spoke loudly enough for the other to hear, but quietly enough for it to get drowned out in the background noise of the bar. " Mate.. it's good ta see'ya..'ow is the girl? " Ruture listened to him speak as he ordered his own drink, still trying to decide what to say to a long time friend. Sticking his neck out for some random person. A little girl. " I didn't take you for a charity case, Duskbringer. Taking in some girl. Bad business. " He took his freshly ordered whiskey, and downed most of it as Dacero looked at him for a moment, looking forward once more as the ember at the end of the cigar blazed, matching his own thoughts. " Mate.. it's a little girl. She deserves a proper start.. jus' make sure she's moved.. and get's the gil I send every week.. and I'll make sure yer paid too. " Ruture grunted, planting his now empty glass on the bar. " Aye.. fine. " Dacero watched Ruture go to leave, but stopped him, a hand resting on the large Roe's shoulder. " Mate.. jus' be careful. " Ruture waved a dismissive hand over his shoulder as he walked off, grunting.

Thirty Minutes Later.

He moved silently through one of the many dark alleys of Limsa, contemplating going to the Stars House, but he was getting tired of sleep on an infirmary bed, and with his Inn having been donated to the girl he'd saved, his sleeping areas had been.. less then ideal. He sighed as he walked, hoping Beldrem wasn't hurt again, otherwise he'd hear him and his mate yammering back and forth all night. Then he heard the clink of armored boots behind him, a few people. Two, or three. Brows furrowed as he took a turn, keeping his pace casual. Followed. He let out a long breath, taking another turn, then pressing himself into the indention of a doorway, hiding himself from view as footsteps scrambled as they rounded the corner, surprised by his sudden disappearance, they ran by his location, one of his hands firing out at the last one to run by, a hyur. He yanked him backwards, and quickly snapped his head to the side, a crack heard as he gently set the man down, the other two still running ahead. He took the flintlock pistol from the now dead pirate, muttering to himself. He wasn't good with these, at all. Hand to Hand.. axes.. but not blasted guns. He chased after the two, running as quietly as he could, for being armored, which wasn't at all. Luckily, their own armor blocked out his approach as he waited til they paused at another corner, clearly confused, and tapped on the shoulder of the Roe, whom turned around, eyes widening as Dacero jammed the barrel into his mouth. " 'ello. " He pulled the trigger as crimson and gore exploded outwards, the body slowly falling backwards as he let the pistol go with it. His gaze slowly went to the last pirate, fangs bared at him as he grinned, motioning with a hand. " Party of two now, mate. Les' dance. "

It didn't take much urging from him, the pirates sword swinging at him as he dodged as best as he could. Not exactly the best night to be without his axe. He made a fatal mistake, however, tripping over the corpse of his second kill, long enough for the surviving pirate to run him through with the sword. He coughed out, staggering back somewhat as he stood there, keeping himself from tripping over his kill. He stood there, the pirate having released the blade, taking a few steps back as he laughed at the Warrior.. which slowly went to silence as Dacero raised his gaze to him, grinning as crimson slowly leaked from the corner of his lips. " Nice. " He took a step forward, the pirate immediately taking one step back in unison. " Had it been a greatsword.. ye might have slowed me down. " He took another step forward, his hand gripping the handle of the sword which was impaled within him. " But a sword.. " His voice deepened, reverberating through the alley as he pulled it out more with each additional word. " I. Don't. Even. Feel. It. " The blade was pulled free as a yelp was heard from the pirate, having tripped over himself from backing up. " Yer a demon! " The Warrior grinned his bloody grin as he lunged the sword forward, the blade going through the pirates forehead, and out the back of his head, the body crumpling as he stood there, his breathing deep as he looked around him, then looked down to his stomach, touching the wound with two fingers, and raising it up into the moonlight which peaked into the alley when it could. He grunted as he stepped forward, casually stepping over the body as he walked.

Five minutes later.

He opened the door of the Free Company, slow steps taking him upstairs, crimson had trickled down his form now, bathing his lower body in red, but he'd fashioned a bandage around his lower body, sloppily. He paused as he got upstairs, looking at the infirmary area for a moment, then to the whiskey bottles to his right. He grinned to himself, at least the girl would be safe. He walked over to the bottle racks, and pulled out a single one, and popped the top off as he went over to the table, taking a long drink before setting it down, his eyes closing as he leaned back into the chair, the grip loosening on the bottle his hand fell to the table.

This is no place for a hero.

Going to be honest, Fohcswys will probably go out in the least impressive way possible.

It'll either be from food poisoning, because eating spoiled food for an extended period of time isn't exactly smart. Or she'll slip down a set of stairs, let's face it wet wooden steps aren't exactly known for their traction.

K'nahli will probably fall prey to an Amalj'aa force at a time where she has little to no backup. Assuming she isn't killed in battle then she will likely attempt to take her own life as a last resort to keep herself from being tempered. I imagine that she'd have a lot of difficulty with this, obvious reasons aside, simply for the fact that she will be convinced that her sister and closer family will only remember her for her cold and hostile temperament.

And so, she would almost certainly die teary-eyed, harbouring a lot of regret that no-one will ever know was possible for her to feel.

Andre, assuming he never got apprehended by the Immortal Flames or affiliates, would likely die in combat. It's easily possible that we would die defending himself as he would trying to protect someone else. He's not a highly experienced fighter so being faced with three or four Ixal for example could easily prove fatal for him.

Had I ever RP'd Alex then I imagine he would succumb to wounds he sustained in battle as a result of his profession. He was designed to be a powerful and highly successful bounty hunter, but a man possessed by his own arrogance. I wanted him to be a character that was both hated and feared by his foes/targets and for his own attitude to ultimately result in his own downfall.

Tayo is a character whom I mostly RP'd to lightly assist with friends' plots but had I decided to have him die then I imagined him losing his life as he attempted to protect another. He's an older and experienced man, a retired mercenary(though very ethical) that just settled down to the regular lifestyle with his wife, so getting involved in combat again would only be out of a sense of duty to protect.

Nako would probably die in the defence of others. It is what he lives for and his life purpose. Most likely in a 'Final Strike' style attack (ala Mercedes lackey) killing his foe, but giving his life in the process.

That or in a similar vein to Erik and going down with his men around him.

Before Zagi'zi came to her, I almost did end Portia. One event led to another, she either would have committed suicide, or would have gone back to her ex-fiance, thinking that was were she belonged, and died of exhaustion or disease chained up in his dungeons.

Now, however, likely die of old age just how she wanted to. She will probably die first, if not be the only one to die if Zi achieves his immortality. Her daughter would be with her, and she'd be very happy just to have the family she always wanted.

That, or she dies sooner, falling victim to some crazy accident, maybe sacrificing herself to save Zi or her daughter. He's likely always going to be living the dangerous life, something bad is bound to happen at some point. I'm sure he'd do what he could, though, to make sure that doesn't happen to her.

W'majha/Sly will probably die running from the law. She's a criminal, so her expected lifespan is pretty short.

If Zhen doesn't end up taking her own life at some point, she will die of old age, likely all alone and dissatisfied with her life.

Viola is going to travel all of Hydaelyn, and will die while attempting to climb the highest peak in the world. It'll be the one thing she was unable to climb.
