I've been wanting to do something like this for awhile now, but I guess I haven't really seen an opportune moment to gun for it without seeming like an idiot. I realize I do a lot of sitting around in XIV, doing a whole lot of nothing. RP tends to be scarce for me, I generally only raid a few nights a week, and the rest of my time in-game is spent just kind of doing stuff, or nothing at all, just waiting for things to possibly happen. I want to change the latter, though!

So, since the holidays are coming up, I decided I'd just suck it up and make this thread!

Do you have something you've been longing after for awhile? Maybe some equipment for leveling? A piece of crafted gear that really suits your fancy? A minion? Housing furnishing? A craft power leveled to 50?

I want to see if I can't help! Obviously I'm not loaded. As much as I'd love to, I won't be able to shell out 3 star crafted gear and furnishings, or hand out fat cats, opo-opos, and nutkins like candy. But! Maybe there's something that's just a little bit out of your price range. Maybe you don't have the means to gather the materials, or can't find the crafter. Maybe I can help!

And maybe, just maybe, I can encourage others to do the same~

So don't be shy! If there's something you've been after, post it here! And if you just want to help out, then by all means, do that too!

I'd be totally willing to help Merri out here. I have all my crafts to 50, though only weaver 3 starred. Bring me your stuff and I can craft it (shards included please!) and don't worry if you're missing a few things like leather or wool, I'm a material hoarder Tongue

This is an excellent idea! I'll help out in any way that I can, and I also know a few good crafters. One is a 4*, and charges pretty cheap. The other is a 3* in everything, I'll just tip her for wears.Â
As for what I want....a Turn 5 clear >.>

I've got all crafts up to 3-star recipes, so if anyone wanted a little extra help with leveling a disciple of the hand, I'd be up for it. owo/

I have but one simple teeny tiny little wish: A plain long skirt or some sort of formal dress. I am tired of Ameline looking like a peasant or a prostitute and the sanely priced gear doesn't offer anything inbetween those two extremes Sad

All I wish for christmas is people to stop using real money to buy houses through Promise Bands and Dyes selling >_< I'm working hard to make gil for one for my FC and am starting to fear there won't be any by the time we have enough!

Jokes aside, I've been fairly happy with what I've managed to scrounge for myself in the game. The only thing I could imagine that'd I'd possibly be missing when considering that I always seem to find ways to make ends meet would be a set for A'toli that's either fancy within her tastes, or casual within her tastes. I feel like her normal armour is a bit too fancy for someone with no gil, so I'd taken it upon myself to weave a sort of short story in her history explaining how she could have received the set. Almost feels like I'm making excuses for myself because I simply don't know what kind of gear is out there and I'm just playing with what I have haha
