Well, the maintenance has come and gone, and with it I've created a whole slew of characters. Half of them will probably never be used. Yet given the fickle nature of the Balmung server I figured it would be an interesting chance to pre-make characters while I still had the chance, letting their stories come to me as I go. Two of these characters, Enla and Zahir'ra are the ones with which I'm most interested in RPing. Though the former more than the latter at this moment. I was hoping that someone might see one of these two and have them strike their fancy for some RP, or possibly have them being integrated into their back-stories, though the latter is more than a little presumptuous on my part.
Enla Kertuh: A female Keeper who holds herself with noticeable finesse and grace, each step clearly sparing no wasted effort as she moves through the crowded Eorzean landscape. Yet, in spite of this, she is utterly blind - her eyesight ravaged by glaucoma and utterly beyond salvation. A former warrior and guards-woman, the ingrained training from her youth is the only tangible evidence she has of her life before her eyesight was taken away from her. Now it is something she holds very dear to her heart. As is what little pride she has left to spare, her jaw always set in a stubborn cast whenever others offer to aid her in any fashion due to her condition, unwilling to allow such concerns as pity to bring her any lower than she has already become in her estimation.
Now, years after her world went dark for good, she has become an apprentice healer. What once began as a desperate attempt to heal her eyesight has morphed into more, the subtle ebb and flow of healing magic giving her back the one thing she so desperately wished to regain beyond her eyesight. A purpose.
(I'm still trying to figure out the Miqo'te lore, so I've tried to keep parts of this purposefully vague so that she could easily be interchanged between clan lifestyle and something more. All I know for sure at this point is that she was very loyal to her clan at one point, but whether that remains true is hard to say. )
Zahir'ra Epan: Little can truly be said about Zahir'ra without first mentioning the man's utterly infectious smile. Born the youngest in his brood of brothers, Zahir'ra has long set himself away from the concerns of his former clan, preferring instead to avoid the matter altogether. As flippant as he is reluctant to discuss any matters to do with his former home, Zahir'a works odd jobs among the locals of Limsa, the very image of one desirous of making a new start with what little he has to his name. With a decently kind heart and a head that has taken more than it's fair share of whacks over the years, Zahir'ra is a touch easily manipulated as well. Perhaps one of the very reasons why he took such drastic steps to leave his clan in the first place. Regardless, the Keeper refuses to speak on the matter, currently doing his best to forget it ever occurred while hauling cargo off of ships down upon the docks.
There's also Cylin but... She takes awhile to warm to people, and those she doesn't are rare indeed. I figure these two have a better chance of hitting it off with others... Though they both need RP gear, which I'll be leveling them to get.
