I am currently bored as I wait for a flight and had a random FFXIV thought that made me giggle at inappropriate levels. As I didn't see a relevant thread I thought I would start one.

Random Thought: A chocobo built for two

I have seen the two person chocobo you can get through the bonding ceremonies and wondered what a Roegadyn couple would look like doubled up on such. How big would that bird have to be? And if it were two Roe males? That poor, poor bird. I just imagine it giving up the will to live.

PS: I adore chocobos and many of my random thoughts involve them in some capacity. XD

I always wondered with those mounts if there was some etiquette about who rode in the front and who in the back. Not that Dimmy would much care about such things and would probably want to be up front at the reins no matter what. But is it like a motorcycle where you often see the girl on the back with her arms around her man? Or would "ladies first" apply here, and the gentleman rides behind since there may be a greater chance of falling. I would think the front seat would be safer.

Someone told me recently that gentlemen walk on the side closer to traffic historically to catch any dirt or mud that horse-drawn carts or carriages or vehicles instead of their ladies. And that they opened doors for ladies because when outdoors ladies often had to use their hands to hold up their skirts lest they be dragged through dirt or mud.

I doubt Dimmy would care, but I think about stuff like this too sometimes, okay??? Laugh

That is a good question. I imagine the smaller person would sit in front. Would they "drive" though or would the person behind slip their arms around the other to hold the reins? Kestrael would want to be the one doing the steering.

Find me another Roegadyn lady to party with me and I'll take you a screenshot. I have the Draught Chocobo (two seater). 8D

Though I believe the draught chocobos are huge in comparison with all the other chocobo and are sorta standard.

Or guy. I just only know of 2 Roe guys so I just figure it's easier to ask about getting a lady to party xD That and Forever Kage is sorta on the short side ish so guys would dwarf her >.>

Sure! I'm usually on PST evenings and lots of all day weekends.

This is bittersweet because I always remember that Neversoft fused with Infinity Ward to do more Call of Duty and they literally burned their emblem signifying their end.
