Well now... if it was a guy, Eleni would flip out, scream "Who the hell said you could touch me?!" and the guy would be on the receiving end of a punch or a kick or any other non fatal method of attacking, even if it was just a poke from the poor bloke. This has even happened a few times. :O

If it was a woman, she wouldn't be bothered by it at all. She'd behave normally.

If it's someone close or someone she knows very well, she would be very huggable and generally fond of any non sexual contact from them. She was raised by her very loving and motherly grandmother, so she's used to physical contact in the case of close friends.

Ah, and yes, she likes to be patted on the head, because her grandmother used to do that a lot. But of course, that option is only available to really really close people.Â

Shashato Shato would certainly react quite strongly depending on the person. For her it's more of a question of impression. As a rule, she doesn't mind physical contact much. Heck she often finds taking other's hands to be effective comfort. However a complete stranger getting all touchy feely might elicit the understandable uncomfortable reaction, and anything inappropriate with reviled dismay.Â

It also doesn't help that she is a bit of a neat freak, meaning if the person is a hog - even if they are a friend - she'll be reluctant to touch back.

Melody has no problems with physical contact in general. She's been brought up in very social settings, so normal friendly gestures are not an issue. In fact she initiates said gestures a lot of times. It is not uncommon for Mel to try and nudge, poke, flick, ruffle some hair, or give a pat on the back. Granted, she doesn't usually do this to people she's literally just met, but if the setting feels right, she'll likely go for it.

When it comes to more romantic contact, she eats it up like no tomorrow when she is with her special someone.
MAJOR CUDDLE BUG ALERT!!

When other people get flirty with her, the sarcasm gets cranked to the max and she will try to deftly turn things around on said people in order to send the message that she's not interested, but definitely doesn't mind interacting. This might involve attempted playful shoving (keep your distance, buddy!) but would really depend on what the other person was trying to do. (She's also a Lala, so if a bigger race was the interactee, the shoves and nudges might not do anything. :/ )

Jigumundo treasures his personal space and hates when 'an outsider' tries to touch him. His reactions could vary from ironic to extremely violent, depentind on his actual mood. Being a moody character is an actually a 100-sided dice roll to determine how could he react.

However, he don't mind being touched by people he knows or appreciate like his students or (few) friends. Introverted personality is difficult to approach.

He loves cuddling... he could never admit it, but he likes it. BUT only with ONE CERTAIN person... and only if alone.

The other thing are his gloves which he never wears off. NEVER.Â

As for Seth - the guy is Jigumundo's polar opposite. Touching people is part of his job as entertainer, or thief. The point of the touch might vary, however...

Physical touch is a large part of communication for a physical race such as the Sea Wolves. With everything from shoulder slaps to large sweeping hugs, wrestling, punching, etc...

Merl has no problem receiving and giving physical contact in a variety of ways. Little is better to drive home a point than a subtle hand on a shoulder, or less subtle punch in the arm!

Passion is not relegated to boisterous behavior alone, tender touch and more comforting gestures are also welcome and given freely.

That'sÂ a hard question to answer really. it would depend on the situation. Is it someone she knowsÂ ? is it a stranger, is it why working at the cafÃ© ? Was it while walking along merchants row? Â because if it was, someone just tried to mug what little Gil she has.

Overall touching is one form of communication, so yes she touches people. Sometimes her tail sways a bit too much, sometimes those pesky Lalafell's Â like to try and pull on it.

Kal would be dependent on her mood, but overall she's got little problem with being physical or others being physical. Largely in part because of growing up mostly around Limsa and working on docks and ships.
Unless it's someone just walking up to her and grabbing her ass. If she was flirting with someone it wouldn't be a problem, but those who just walk up and start grabbing irritate her, because while she can handle it and herself well enough she knows others have issues with it and the person just signaled they're a creep that doesn't care about people's comfort zones/person space. (Which some people that may know here would find funny, but noting that while she likes to flirt and pick on people to make others uncomfortable or see how they react, she never actually just walks up to people and start grabbing or touching and only does if she picks up on signals that it's not a problem, and even then it tends to be more friendly than sexual.). Oh sure she may play along with it still in her usual manner, but she'll be strongly considering breaking the person's hand or arm and lacing the conversation with threats. Still somehow make it to a bedroom with her? Hope you're not planning on going anywhere because you're going to be hurting the next day and probably regretting the trip.
If she's being friendly with people then there's little problem with being grabbed.
Twelve preserve you though if you try to sneak up on her and try to startle her, like with jumping on her back, a clap on the back, a pinch, or other things when she didn't know you're there and trying to sneak up on her.
Doesn't matter if you're friends with her or not, you're risking getting punched if you startle her.
But otherwise she also has no problem with people hanging off her or even using her as a jungle gym if she's in a good mood, or if you're a friend or kid.
With those she likes and can be more physical with, she's very much a cuddler and has an issue with her hands roaming.

Dheina is not one for being touched. She could be up for cuddling with people she is close to and feels comfortable enough for, but otherwise she doesn't like being touched at all. No hands on her shoulder or back, or anything more personal. Especially not personal. If she was hurt and had to be carried she'd be able to deal with being carried, but she wouldn't be happy about it.
She's also extremely easy to startle and sudden physical touches could result in getting scratched or bitten.

Armimi is another one that wouldn't be happy with being touched, but she wouldn't twist or jump away like Dheina and the person would just more get a flat look and a "Please don't", "I suggest you remove your hand if you want to keep it", "Last chance to stop touching me before I torch you"

Sam isn't exactly a touchy-feely person and would prefer not to be touched by strangers, but they can easily enough tolerate being touched or dealing with crowds where bumping in to others or anything else is pretty much a given. More personal touches are uncomfortable and may end up getting one stabbed or set on fire if the person is pushy enough with it.

Samhain is like one of those cats that you really don't know if it's ok to be touching. One moment she could be totally fine with being touched or even being felt up, and then suddenly she decides that's enough and she's twisting your arm or has clawed you to get you to stop.

Cardea's friendly enough and one of those that will probably hang off the people she's hanging out with. It's usually just innocent friendliness anyways, but she tends to have an issue with remembering people can prefer personal space.

Rotomoto will molest people any chance he gets (By molest I mean, frantically touch anything and everything) especially women. He's a true pervert, but he will almost never pursue anything other than to just tease women.

As for being touched himself, he wouldn't mind it at all if those who touches him are women, in fact he'd welcome the touches! Though if it was a man, he would be uncomfortable and awkward but remain alright.Â

Though those who decide to manhandle him will be responded with extreme flailing (With a sword)

Chachan, as one might figure, is a pretty touchy-feely sort.

Why he is, however, has not been touched upon (hee) quite so much. It's actually due to his upbringing. His first lessons with using a smith's hammer were with his father's hand guiding his strikes. When he (or any of the Gegenji kids) had trouble sleeping at night, their mother would run her hands gentle through their hair to help relax them. Even a lot of interactions with his brother consisted of reassuring pats and other similar forms of physical contact.

No wonder he's a bit of a hug-monster whose first response to dealing with an upset person is to give them a little hug or reassuring pat. It's engrained in him at this point.

(Also Lala-leghugs are adorable)

Hyur Midlander Alexander Gomez can tolerate touches from males, even those from hugs... However, any form of affection towards him from a male has him trying to avert from it...

Females, on the other hand, will have him sometimes blush from the contact... While back patting and head petting are taken where the Hyur can at least tolerate it, even hugs or kisses or licks can have him fluster a little...

As for Keeper Miqo'te Wa'gozah'a Nunh, he is cautious of any sort of touches from males... whereas females have him be... less averse than usual.

Being a thief when it comes to touching others he'll do what he needs to grab something from someone whether it is bumping into them, distraction them with a pat on the shoulder or another action while the other hand nabs what it is he wants. Other than that though he'll usually keep his hands to himself.
When it comes to being touched he's not a fan, usually worms his way out of hugs or moves the other person's hand or himself away when being touched. Though when it comes to friends or people he knows he doesn't quite care as much but if it is extended beyond what he's comfortable with (usually a few seconds; 2-5) he'll then begin to remove himself from it.

General contact is fine but random hugs or romantic/intimate touches kinda freak her out a bit. She'll push that person back or jump back herself. Her mood reaction will vary to the content or reasoning of the physical touch.

However, she doesn't care if her ass is grabbed. She will just roll here eyes a bit and continue her work. Since she works at a bar she knows it's bound to happen.

Oh, this could be fun.

Franz does not like being touched at random, regardless of intention. The worst thing someone could probably do to him that's nonviolent would be to creep up on him and either poke or hug him. It's that initial shock of personal space violation that would set him off.

If it's someone he knows and more so if it's someone he's familiar with, they're far more likely to get away with it. Despite his large size, he might still try to slink away, or otherwise remove the person doing the action.

If it's a complete stranger, they'd probably get anything from an angry glare to aÂ hit of some sort. Franz would likely have shivers going down his back.Â

That said, some physical display of affection, friendship, trust, etc is perfectly fine. He's not the type of person that would normally initiate a hug unless it was meant to be impactful. But something on the level of a hi-five or handshake is acceptable. I can think of a couple occurrences he hugged someone willfully. Very difficult scenes for him.

So I guess....he's like a grumpy cat? When it's unexpected or clear he doesn't want to be touched, he'll act accordingly. Certain amounts of touching will be tolerated. And by far, it'll only ever be "ok" in his head if he's the one doing it.Â

So to anyone reading this that knows him. Do it. Make him uncomfortable. I'm sure lots of good RP could come of it. Just for the love of the Twelve, do not poke on open wounds or try to heal them.Â
