Its the dps lb in general is it not? I am suggesting it will be changed as we saw Yda's imitation of Tifa's final lb in ffvii, also known as Final Heaven.


I'm saying why would Final Heaven be the the new LB3 when it already is the LB3.

For the same reason that knives and daggers were removed from GLD/PLD when rogue was added. They have shown a willingness to change things when needed. They have stated that at the least the animations will change, and I assume (though I may be wrong) the names of the LB3. So with Yda using what looks like this:

And that if the names all change, the only one to keep the Final Heaven name will be the Monk LB3, as that is the Final Fantasy tradition. Hence my logic.

It was announced a while back that each job would be getting its own LB, so if MNK kept the current LB3 for melee DPS, DRG and NIN would be the ones getting new animations.

I assume the animation for the current FH would change to Yda's new animation. Just as the daggers were changed to swords in the GLD item list.

So anyone else notice anything?

Most people on the forums believe that it's the Red Lotus Blade skill which explains why some see 1.0 in it.

Honestly, if they changed Final Heaven to that, as melee I'd be pissed off. The cutscene essentially just adds some fist/arm movement to the usual Final Heaven LB, which honestly I see as just embellishment for the cutscene.

LB3 is fucking long enough as is. It does not need to have that included.

I'm pretty sure it would be the case anyhow. It's sorta-iconic that way? Same how I think BLM will keep Meteor and SMN will get a different one.

Not sure about the Tank LB however.

I just think that it would be gameplay-wise IDIOTIC to make the Final Heaven animation even longer to include the fancy hand movement that I think is embellishment for the cutscenes/end of ARR. LB3 is way too fucking long already to add more.

If my assumption is correct they will more then likely shrink it to fit combat Kage. I think it would be understood that the version Yda uses was extended for dramatic effect. The same happened with the mentioned previews we got of ROG/NIN. The skills were the same animation as the player versions, but extended for dramatic effect for the sake of the cutscene. Go back and watch the scene and compare it to the actual player skills, you will see what I mean.

I am sure however Monks like Osric and all will be glad of anything other then the DRK sword they are forced to swing now on their Limit.

Personally I would like a sort of damage all/low damage/super-high arggo generating Knight's of the Round. Would still never get to use it though lol.

I just said the same exact thing, you even quoted me.

Are you saying they will make LB1 and LB2 a version of Final Heaven? The blade swing is only for the first two melee limit breaks.

I heard SMNs would like to have their Egi transform into a normal Primal, so I've got this idea
1) Summon Titan-Egi.
2) Charge and use LB3.
3) Titan-Egi becomes Titan EX.
4) /sit and look at the boss while it gets owned by Titan EX.
5) [insert boss' name here]: WTF lag

First of all, for NINs and DRGs should never have Final Heaven as animation since they don't really use fist. While Braver/Blade Dance also makes no sense either.

The whole LBs need to be readjusted to be appropriate for each classes and jobs. Bards having healing LB made no sense from the start, and I am glad they are getting their own LB.

This game has a lot of weird mechanic logics and they haven't fixed that part since 1.0 unfortunately. 

Braver/BD/Final Heaven cast time shouldn't really change, but their weapon animations have to change into something else.

As I recall hearing, it's ONLY the level 3 limit breaks that will be individualized amongst the classes/jobs.
