"Can't say I really remember you. There's just so many of you Miqo'tes..."

This has a little of OOC involved in the way it irritates me. It's just a comment that I don't find very natural and believable to be said. It'd be as if IRL someone told me they didn't remember me because there's just so many caucasians here in Italy. Who'd ever say that?

When I worked in retail, there was this rather pleasant elderly couple who would always ask me if I had a sister that worked at the electronics store, about a mile south from my location. Out of curiosity one day I took a trip there myself, only to find that we shared virtually no facial similarities besides skin tone, and maybe eye shape....maybe.

It's a thing, it does happen.

I'm pretty sure we've all heard

seriously. if she doesn't know you very well or you just met, use her full first name. for a long time that version of her name was for only two people, its slowly growing to her friends using it and she's okay with that. but those that don't know her; she feels like they're taking a liberty they haven't been granted.

yeah sure it could be considered nitpicking; but let me ask ANYONE that has a name that can go either short or long and i'm betting most of them have a preference on which one they like (for one reason or another) and it gets under their skin if someone uses the less liked one (even if they don't make an outward big deal over it)

EDIT!!! to clarify! ooc i'm good with clio, luv it in fact. but ic she's a bit of a stubborn butt and that's one of her minor hangups ;p

For Lili it's people who make comments about her bad parenting when it comes to her adopted son, Adokenai. It extends OOCly as well because Lili takes care of Ado a lot in the background per what myself and his player agreed too given our differing schedules and time differences (he's UK, I'm US). But some people decide that because they see him online or around by himself that she neglects him. It's an annoyance to myself and ESPECIALLY to my character since it doesn't hold true ICly.

Also the fact people mistake Lili for being some young thing and she's in her mid thirties so they call her 'little one' or 'girl'. She glares at them for it.

Just because she's a courtesan that doesn't mean I ERP, and no I'm not obliged to do so.

IC:

"How much for the night?" - If you have to ask upfront then you probably can't afford her services.

"Are you free this evening?" Probably not, she's extremely selective about her clients and it takes her more than a day to decide if wants to you to be a client or not.

"What's a lady like you doing here?" She goes where she pleases.

"You wouldn't understand/care." Just because she's not some sort of scholar doesn't mean she's totally ignorant.
