If this was already shown elsewhere, I apologize. I did a quick browsing of the latest Headlines thread and couldn't find them.

Personally, I am particularly excited about the first one on the right (the Old London type of coat). I hope BLM can wear it, it'd make for Jet'a's new look in Ishgard.

I have to agree on that top right one, it caught my eye first and foremost (followed by dancing Lala). There's a lot of interesting armor designs, sure, but I'm hoping that there will be a nice collection of All Class gear to make some more... I dunno, "mundane" outfits? Stuff you'd likely wear around town and not look like you about to go fight some terrible evil at the drop of a hat.

Yeah, I definitely agree. I'm looking forward to town gear, of the type that lets you blend in and not catch the eye with extravagant details, like that coat. Let us hope for more town gear prizes on the Gold Saucer!

It's not just coutesans. I've been wanting a bellydancer-like outfit as someone who plays a traveling performer. I'm not sure why the automatic assumptions seems to be SEX RP.

I actually wondered if that was a MNK look or not, it's one of the few outfits I've seen of the new stuff that I could picture Zarek wearing IC-ly.

The design is clearly intended to appeal the sexual drive (the cut on the leg, the laces around the legs, among other things). If you have seen some movies, you will see that is reflects the typical attire of concubines in the arabian/turkish/egyptian ancient times. They both delved into bellydancing and courting. Going around the streets in that attire was considered indecent (it still is, in those countries), and as such attributed to traders of sex (which again did include bellydancing. most of bellydancers ended the day with their customers in bed).

I'm not sure why the negative reaction to that, however.

I do agree it looks similar to a Naginata, but the posture of that model induces to me think that's a great sword, so... DRK, I guess.

Why can we never get a cloak or something with the hood /on/ or at least a visor option.

The generic robes with the hood on now just don't cut it for me.
