Hello all!

So I am posting this because I really like to RP, really really do. However, I'm having trouble making connections and trying to find the right FC to join! I know there is a list of FCs here, but I always enjoy a more personal ask/answer method when trying to know if I can be part of a certain group or not!

I am looking for Heavy RP, that is for sure. Both in quality and quantity. I am also looking for a group of ooc individuals who I can relate to and eventually who knows, even become good friends! BAsically, I'm looking for a Home in FFXIV, and would love some help in finding this.

Also, it's not tied to just FC. If you have any idea for a LS, or a group of people, or you are a RPer in the same situation, or you know people that could help me with that, or you yourself could help me with that, I'd be really grateful!

Hey there! I know there are a lot of great linkshells and FC's if you wanna shop around the linkshell hall. On that note, Harbingers of Dawn is a good-aligned, med-heavy RP FC dedicated to protecting and aiding the citizens of Eorzea. You're welcome to check us out! Welcome to the RPC. I wish you good hunting on the RP front! Luckily Balmung is rife with it. There are some really awesome FCs and LSs on the server.

Unfortunately, you'll have to do a bit more soul-searching to really narrow things down. Everyone here wants a sizable quantity of quality RP and of those, many enjoy it in the heavier sense.

Sit down, think about what you're really looking for; action, adventure, romance, drama, slice-of-life, light or dark, carefree to emotionally oppressive and everywhere in between; it doesn't matter what, just so long as it suits your needs best.

Only then can we really advise you for any potential homes to be. Heart

You could come and try Hugs & CakeÂ Linkshell, there is a link in my sig. This is a bunch of avid RPers supporting each other through the game. It probably does not answer all that you want but it is a great place to begin that quest.

Amongst those types mentioned, I'd be looking at: Action, Adventure, Romance, Drama. I do enjoy emotional RP.

In smaller doses, slice of life, since we all need a break from the big stuff, or taxing stuff.

I am fairly flexible provided I can have at least those included in my RP life Smile

I am a new player too, so I fully understand your troubles. I have not yet joined a FC but I have given a good looking FC an application, now the horrid "wait for a reply" game begins xDÂ

My character is Lanielle Laelle, a small Lalafell. If you wish man, just add me as a friend. I am also part of the LS Hugs and Cake, and thus fully support Nebbs suggestion in joining up with us! The people in it are really friendly, quick to help, active in chat. For not to mention quick on the draw when roleplay happens.Â

I'm not roleplaying much at the moment myself, because I'm on a direct levelling spree to reach 50 before the new expansion and complete the entire mainstory.Â

However! There's always time for some roleplay ;3

The styles I prefer, much to your own, is adventure, light crime, organized crime and odd jobs. I don't really do romance myself, mostly because I try to avoid drama in a game xD even if it's just roleplay! Doesn't feel right when my irl soulmate is sitting next to me and I'm busy flirting in a game. BUT! I'm open for pretty much anything else Big Grin
