The ship cruise to Thanalan from La Noscea is a great voyage but sometimes very short if you manage to sleep the day away. Some people find the ride adventurous due to what the expansive sea holds in its mystery. Which is another reason why some people avoid it...
Surge was on the ship The Asura, which he had no choice but to get on due to his loss of airship reservations...The famous explorer was not a seasick person at most times, though it would happen that he was a different kind of sick. He was admiring some flying fish earlier until something else came flying out  of the water...
*SPLASH! Chomp!*
Surge threw himself aback to the deck of the ship on his rump after seeing a couple of sharks taking their pick of some good fish. Surge had some decent armor on, purple in color and would be reminiscent of any dragoon along with his spear. However, this did not give him comfort towards the idea of visiting the deep waters up close...cause frankly...he didn't know how to swim! And apparently after getting up some of the sailors laughed at the "landlubber" because of his fear of the ocean depths...Â
Surge took another look at the sharks and the fish, wondering about them..."Well at least they look like fascinating creatures none the less..." he said to no one particular or at least he was hoping for a listening ear...
