That's... no, you know what? I like Torterra. Not as much as Sceptile, but whatever. Heck, I think the only starters I really don't like are Infernape and Emboar (because, y'know, a Fire/Fighting starter was enough).

I'm not too crazy about Charizard either, but I do like Charizard from a design point of view. Â I love dragons and dragon-like creatures, so visually it appeals to me. Â In the games, however, I rarely used one until I ended up getting a shiny Charmander in Pokemon X from Prof. Sycamore. Â I wasn't even trying for one, but when I got it I was like "Yep, keeping it!". Â

The only fire starter I'm really fond of is Torchic's line, and I have absolutely no idea why.

Blaziken looks stupid and I've convinced myself 99% of the love for it is because of how stupid broken it is. Emboar is the true fire/fighting champion.

I never got big into fire types. Like....I like Arcanine and thats about it. I tend to play water or grass types. But mostly Psychic and Ghost types.

I've never cared much for the competitive scene since Gold/Silver, so I tend to just try and pick cool designs and/or pokes I like. I will always try to find a way to put a Shuckle on my team, even if they're awful in the general sense of the main game.

Pokes I like > pokes I don't like with godlike stats.

...you know, I never realized how much I never cared for the legendaries. I distinctly recall tracking down and KOing the stupid lake guardian ones. I think it's my inner hipster. Something is built up to be super hyped and amazing? Yawn, pass. Gimme Gigashuckle any day.

So uhh, I tried the wonder trade function on my Pokemon.

I got a lvl 100 shiny Charizard and a lvl 100 Jirachi. . .

And I only traded a turtwig and a zangoose. . .
Looks like Jirachi getting traded for a Giratina so I can have two.

I was just getting rid of Pokemon I didn't want in wonder trade and then BAM. Back to back a lvl 100 shiny charizard and a Jirachi.

I traded the Jirachi in GTS for a shiny Giratina.
