- A prompt is given, a simple concept to be used as an overarching theme or starting point for a larger story.
- This story is to be co-written by a team of participants.
- The participants will be kept anonymous to each other and the forums at large until the story is completed.
- Each participant will write one or more paragraphs in an attempt to further the story and build off of the previous participant's entry.
- The participants will have no official method of communicating with each other and thus will have no method of discussing how the story will pan out.
- Participants will forward their work to the host, who will post in their stead.
- Each participant will have a short deadline to submit their share of the story.
- Participants' entries will be posted as they are submitted, with readers free to read and critique as they please.
- Participants' identities and work will be revealed after all entries have been submitted and reviewed.
