What's going on everyone,

My name is Race, not in real life but I'm one of those who likes to preserve internet anonymity; For the sake of safety (Got some crazies out there) and immersion. Smile

Â In my real life I am in the National Guard, a full time student, and spend my free time with video games and family. I have much experience with MMOs and RP, though they are not always mutually exclusive. I have played obscure Korean MMOs, WoW, SWTOR, PS2, LOTRO, COH, DCU, SWG, and currently Guild Wars 2. I am looking to get back into FFXIV, I played the original a long while back but didn't stick with it because of obvious reasons. I am a huge Final Fantasy fan (FFVIII is the best!) and I am looking to expand my immersion into its universe by creating my own story and lore within this game!

I can't wait to jump in and play with all of you. Smile

Welcome to the community! There are some pretty awesome people here who can point you into the right direction for all that you need. I've played a bunch of various korean MMOs myself, many names elude me I can't remember them all. But more recently I've played SWTOR, myself. Smile

This community is growing daily and there is a ton of people wanting to join in on the role play and such. The RPC is a lot bigger than I had expected it to be!

Thanks for the warm reception, it reassures me knowing that we have a friendly community here. Frankly I don't know too much on the back story leading up to this game but I plan to do my research prior to creating my character. I would love to set up maybe a small band of players to adventure with, if anyone would be interested in that.
