--MMORPG background
I have played nearly every major MMO on the market and probably even some that weren't considered major. I have always thrown myself whole heartedly into MMOs hoping to find the experience that's truly; IT. But alas, I find myself chasing after the dream. So here I sit at the precipice of yet another game with high hopes, and big dreams.

--RP experience
I have RP'd in a great number of places for a great number of things! My largest stint of roleplay was on a graphical mud "Furcadia" (don't judge me, I was young NAIVE!) But years of Para-form RPing with combat and the like really turned me into an active member of that community for a large number of years. Barring that experience I have tried to roleplay on multiple games, WoW, DAOC, Everquest. You know name it I tried, and was dissapointed, nay devasted everytime! *tear drop* Also long time D&D, WoD, (insert Pen And Paper game title here) RPer, and DM/STerÂ alike. Love everything about RP and try to get my jollies any way I can!
--Character ideas/info
What? So soon? Well I have made a couple of characters, but I believe my main is going to be a Dunesfolk Lalafell Pirate, with a penchant for ale and treasure (we'll see how that goes yah?)
--How did you learn about the coalition?
I Google'd FFXIV Roleplay (genius I know.)
--What kind of a role-player are you aiming to be? Light, medium, or heavy?
I fall inbetween Medium to Heavy, and oft times will resort to light when I'm having a heavy drinking day (those are far and few between. Smile

)
--Anything from real life you'Â€Â™re comfortable with sharing? (Work, school, hobbies, etc)
I work in IT, and yet I sit on a computer all night (I have issues.) I still go to school 10 years after the fact of getting there the first time. I also LARP ( I said I have issues.) AndÂ I love to meet and greet with new folks as much as possible! Any other questions, I'm glad to chat it up! (And for reference I will be playing on Marbolo, however I think I'm liking what I see with Gilgamesh. And I have a buddy who I think wants to get with an RP group too. So this should be fun!)

Can't say Im fond of the Lallafel (dont judge) but the concept sounds at least entertaining! Man..I haven't LARPed in 15 years ><. Bringing back some memories now, gotta say!

If things don't work out for you in Gilgamesh, you come to Balmung. I will protect and probably entertain a tiny Lalafell with... antics. Or at least conflict. <3

It makes me so sad to see you didn't have any good experiences with so many MMOs. What happened to them? Or what are other people doing that I'm missing?!

Do you still try to do para-post RP?

Hey now, one of the most memorable RP continuities I've ever been a part of was on Furcadia.Â I still miss that tavern... /spit on the ground.Â Forever curse the day those draconic bastards burned it to the ground.

Well sadly, Gilgamesh and Balmung are currently Character creation locked. SOOO, until that's lifted have fun folks!

You just gotta try in the morning.Â I got onto Gilgamesh by logging in around 05:00 EST, which is my usual play time.

I can also relate about MMO hopping, but I stuck with WoW for years until Activision chased all my friends away.Â Then the Pokemon RPers came.Â @________@
