I'm currently situated on the Balmug server, playing either Matt Yaeger or Aidellia Selle, and am curious as to what and who I should be seeing. Looking forward to the experience!

I haven't gotten too much into RP, so I'm not sure of where to find it. Especially since you're on another server. From what I've read, tavern stuff in Limsa Lominsa and Ul'dah can net you some success. There should also be RP out and about. Other than that, there are also plenty of "Looking for RP" threads in the RP Discussion. Hope to see you around if/when I get a character on Balmung! As far as getting started, are there any particular spots I should check out? Hmm I would suggest the adventurers guild in the major cities, there's usually one or two people sitting at tables. Taverns at camps are usually a good place as well. Like Magellan said feel free to ask more questions, if you can narrow down the type of character/type of RP you're looking for it would be a bit easier to make suggestions. You can also check out the "Linkshells" listed on the menu band above, sorted by server there are quite a few with different goals/environments.
