Hello all!

I do not have the game at the moment, but I plan on giving it a try.Â
*sigh* So now that -that- is out of the way....

I have never really been a fan of FF, not cause I think its dumb or anything, but because I always skipped all those games growing up. In other words, I have NO idea of ANY lore of ANY FF game.Â

But I am now looking around, and snooping on this site to check out the lore of FFXIV specifically.

"So... if you don't have the game, why are you here? Or what are you going to do here?"

Well I like RP and I would like to read up on some lore (like I stated before), and I like to snoop around because... well why not?Â Big Grin

I also have an unhealthy obsession with the Miqo'te. So much I have already made a siggy for myself and TONS of modded pictures off of the benchmark FFXIV has for players. (Which I scored "High" on so I know I can run the game for sure")Â

Anyway for now I am reading, photoshopping, and snooping around to get to know the game and some of the RPers here.
My user name is the same from GW2RP as I was referred to come here to check out the RP and stuff from FFXIV... and now I am rambling.Â

Lol, hi! I'm fairly new to the game too, as well as the FF universe. I've only played, like. Crystal Chronicles and FFXII, which was pretty great.

What do you think so far? Do you have a server/class in mind yet?

Well welcome to the lands of Miqo fun when you do get the game and join us. They are fun to play ^^ The only bad part there is very little lore for us yet.

Race, Miqo'te for sure!
Class, been thinking of a Gladiator or some sort of caster. As far as jobs go, I would to try Dragoon. I loved playing them in FF tactics Advanced. (Or however the title was.) Would love seeing my little Miqo'te all decked out in heavy armor. But if not I would love to heal too.Â

As far as server goes, I have friends in Balmog (spelling?) and Gilgamesh. So I might have one toon in both.Â Tongue

Welcome to the RPC Psy,

As the others have said, there's plenty to do here so feel free to get familiar with the wiki, maybe read Eva's RP handbook, take a look at some outside websites maybe (http://xivwiki.com/Main_Page ). Make a day of it!

Feel free to ask any questions you might have here or in the forum post about their particular topic. You can of course also ask people about their linkshells and FC's in the Linkshell hall postings above. Take a gander at the Lantern if you'd like to read some IC articles.

Hope to see you around in Eorzea before too long, and good to see that you've made a point of running the benchmark!
