--MMORPG background
So this is the first MMORPG I've ever jumped into mainly because of my love for the FF series in general and because I was never able to play FF 11.Â

--RP experience
I've played numerous table top RPG's as well as dedicated my high school years to playing in the Star Wars Combine site.Â

--Character ideas/info
I don't know yet on what direction I want to take my character but maybe some sort of pirate. IDK.Â

--How did you learn about the coalition?
On Google looking for an RP community to joinÂ

--What kind of a role-player are you aiming to be? Light, medium, or heavy?
I think medium or heavy.Â

--Anything from real life you'Â€Â™re comfortable with sharing? (Work, school, hobbies, etc)
Like I said I am new to the MMORPG world so I don't have that much to talk about there. Things about my real life that are interesting... Well I am an AFROTC cadet majoring in Computer Engineering and one two trimesters away from graduation. Besides video gaming my other hobbies would be playing guitar and running.

Pirate eh? there are a few groups out there who might suit your tastes, as Shizu said The Hungry Wolf, there is also the "Black Lotus Cartel." Maybe take a look at the forums and linkshell hall for a few more.. In the mean time! I have a few links to share with you. Ordinarily they are scattered around the site, but I think it can help to know there are a few key ones in a sea of information to latch on to when you start.

Anyways! Here is a link to the offical RPC welcome post, you may have already clicked on it on the front page, it outlines the history of the RPC as well as covers a few of the main tools here.

Since this is your first MMO I highly recommend taking a look at this RP Handbook put together by Eva, A bit daunting at first glance, it is broken down into sections that I think should make it a bit easier to get through. Many of the ideas put forward should serve to create a solid foundation for your experiences here and down the road.
