She also eventually came to look up to her father after his passing. Â He served as a captain of a particular batallion of dragoon knights of Ishgard and as a single parent tried to imprint a lot of values and traditions. Â Much of this was not well-received until his health began to deteriorate though. Â Earlier in her life she did not have any role-models and her teenage years in particular were difficult for this lack of guidance.
Would be interesting RP to see a bit of backstory for Phalanx as to why he left Ishgard and the Dragon Knights as even Inessa doesn't know.
