I also do a good deal of work with Photoshop and various other graphics, audio, and video editing software (Adobe Premiere and SoundForge primarily), and sometimes I have the IDE for PHP up as well. And I have a hard time closing Firefox tabs/windows. It's a problem. I think Firefox alone with all of the tabs/windows I keep open gobbles up about 3gb. A lot of this stuff I do simultaneously.
