It's more the other way around: Monks are forced to piggyback off other classes' models and textures. If it's not a DERP EYEPATCH, AF gear / myth recolor, the Rank 38 PvP Hawkwing set, or Coil gear, most pieces of post-50 Monk gear are slightly altered models/textures. See the past six dungeons: Fistfighter's is a slightly modified Hussar's, and Divine Hero is a slightly modified Divine Light (WITH EYEPATCH).Â
Bards and Dragoons at least got something unique in Shikaree's and Divine Wisdom.
