I think I could be talked into considering that everyone's got an Aethryte they just naturally are more attuned to and are taxed less for teleporting (or... returning?) to, but magical transport just throws so many wrenches in normal RP for me.
you cant return/teleport whilst in combat, or if you move. So one can infer that it takes great concentration, if you were coshed on the head, had to dodge something, other reason to do anything other than focus on the spell, then it doesn't get cast.
