Hmm. That's interesting, and makes a degree of sense but seems almost too gentle from the baddies we've had to face. It'll be interesting to see where it develops.
Thinking about it, though, most jobs haven't really played out the way people expected them to. Barring maybe monk, black mage and arguably warrior, everything else got a new spin on lore.
