
Well if all involved characters are played characters, and not NPC's, the dynamic is different. What you're subjected to at that point is a player vs. player fight, which would boil back down to the fight vs. flight response and measuring 'proficiencies' against eachother if not talking about it OOCly. Either way, Communicate your intend and perceived consequences clearly and beforehand oocly, otherwise you'll end up with a mess that is hard to fix.
