It's true, ICly my character wouldn't question anyone who says they're from Doma because she knows nothing about Doma. Acting like an expert on a land she has never been to would be horribly ooc.
OOCly I can look at the lore, but honestly where you are FROM is completely bendable. You can be from anywhere as any race and make it work. That's not really worth getting upset over and as a self proclaimed lore-monger I'm not gonna fall on my sword debating where someone can or cannot be from.
