I haven't cleared T9 (obviously as I bitch about it constantly) but I've never really had a problem with needing any type of voice communicated messages before Heavensfall.
... Unless someone oops'd and place a meteor too close and golems need to be adjusted.
Or... when you and the bard both have meteor streams right after Lunar Dynamo and you typically are in the same area so you dance with each other holding hands.
