I think what Faye is saying is that some people do still want believability in their RP otherwise we can say shit about whatever happens in combat. What is the easiest way to reach believability in a fantasy setting? Real world.

This! Even fantasy settings need some measure of RL logic to in order to be relatable, believable, and make sense to our measly human brains!
