Ul'dah is very much a crowded place, the Quicksand specifically. Lots of RP to be found and lost in.Â
If you look for it, though, you're bound to find RP anywhere. I, personally, stroll Limsa daily.
You'll find RP in FCs and LSs also. Take a look at some of them here, if you're interested.
I suggest digging through some of the lore gathered in the wikis out there, if you're in need of questions answered, or just posting specific questions here. Lots of folks enjoy being able to share their knowledge with new comers.
